Follow Your Nose: Roast, Grind, Brew, Repeat

Is there anything better than finding someone passionate about what they do, and hearing them talk about that passion? I don’t think so. In the centre of a bustling Yeovil city centre is a haven with speciality coffee, stunning cakes and the most warm-hearted staff you will ever come across.

Finca, a roastery originally from Dorchester has, in the past couple of years, opened an outlet to rival any other chain coffee store. You can taste the care and attention that goes into making each and every coffee, from the very start (by choosing the best quality coffee beans) right through to the end (steaming the milk to perfection and creating beautiful free-poured latte art).

Although coffee connoisseurs the world over should obviously be making this their next stop, it’s not all they are excellent at. Mouth watering lemon drizzle cake and fresh, sourdough paninis make it an excellent spot for anyone looking for a light bite to eat.

The vibe inside is cosy, and welcoming; though I don’t consider myself a regular, each and every person who walks through the door is greeted with the widest of smiles. Such a simple thing, but makes so much difference to any other place on the high street. Independent? Yes. Unique? For sure. Friendly? Eternally.
